The Bridge (East Midlands) celebrates recruitment of new Interim CEO (Chief Executive Officer)

We are pleased to announce that with effect from 7^th August 2023, our new Interim CEO Nash Chhatralia has taken over the reins from our departing CEO, Sue Langley whom has led The Bridge during the last 19months with integrity, enthusiasm and strong commitment and we offer our sincere gratitude and best wishes for continued success as she moves on to pastures new.

Nash joins us with a wealth of charity and business experience, having most recently been employed as Director of Business Development at the Peepul Centre in Leicester where he delivered services throughout the pandemic including setting up a vaccine centre and ensuring that the community benefitted from a delivery of food throughout that challenging time.

Jay Webb, Chair of the Board of Trustees said “I am absolutely delighted that we have been able to appoint Nash as our new Interim CEO. He brings with him a vast breadth of experience of senior leadership, financial acumen, and managing in the charity sector. He is used to managing large staff and volunteer groups, delivering excellent services, and working in partnership with providers and funders.

Knowing that our staff and our clients are in safe hands is a relief. Nash brings a new perspective to our organisation and will continue to work with the Strategic Management Team and our staff to continue growing and developing our service offer to meet the ever-changing needs of the community we serve.
