Reasons To Donate

0.6% of our income is spent on income generation and governance meaning 99% goes back into service delivery and helping our clients.

With several funding streams becoming increasingly restrictive, we need the support of the community to help us achieve our mission.

In the 2018/19 financial year, we dealt with 5,006 referrals into our services, working to prevent and relieve homelessness for all clients.

The need for emergency food and fuel provision is growing. In 2018/19, The Bridge helped local people tackle food poverty by dispersing 737 food parcels.

Homeless and vulnerably housed people are one of the most overlooked and disadvantaged groups’ of people within society and need the support of charities, and their local communities as a result.

Help us help the homeless, and fundraise!

Fundraising can be as big or small as you want it to be, it feels good, and it is always fun. There are many ways in which you can raise money from big charity parties to bake sales, here are just a few ideas:

Coffee morning/afternoon tea

Sponsored personal challenges (did someone say Marathon...)

Office raffle, bake sale, fancy dress, games

Ticketed events (fashion show, music event)

Art and craft fair/jumble sale

Sponsored Movember, Stoptober, Dry January

Charity Skydive, Parachute/Bungee Jump

Summer fun day with BBQ, games and drinks!
