As a health and wellbeing practitioner, Bhavna explained that her journey which includes a period of homelessness, has bought her to where she is with her life. In her business with her experience, she wants to assist others in Fast Tracking their Health and Well-Being safely without further delays. She is a Health and Well-being consultant, and works as a Life Coach, as well an Energist and Meridan therapist to which aims to provide a better understanding of how energy and activity, motivates and shapes human behaviour. Her expertise includes talk therapies, non-invasive healing and hair testing as a means of identifying the present state of health, which is not routinely tested, and much more. Her mission is to identify the underlying causes of an individual’s problems, before finding solutions to help centre their physicality and emotions, whilst improving the well-being of her clients to enable them to move forward in a positive manner. She has as short-lived experience of homelessness and how the 'Unknowing of tomorrow' feel like believes that with this personal knowledge and life experience (including how she has changed her own life around) will enable her to bring that experience to the Board in supporting The Bridge with its Governance role. She is aware of the many challenges in the sector at present including the impact of the current economic situation has on society and homelessness. She is aware that being part of The Bridge and a Member of the Board she has a lot to learn in respect of the Governance role and that it is not simply a case of attending a meeting every other month. It takes real commitment, time, and effort. Her interests lie in the generation of funds for the organisation. She also has knowledge of the impact that homelessness has on the various ethnic groups in society and how women in particular are impacted by homelessness. She would like to use this knowledge and personal experience to support The Bridge in providing governance and oversight of its operations.
