The talk²sort Mediation Service works with young people aged 11-19, and their families, who may be having problems at home or with their relationships. We support people to explore ways of resolving conflict.
We support young people and their families to reduce the likelihood that a young person will face homelessness in both the immediate and distant future. We believe that resolving conflict can have substantial benefits on individuals’ mental health and wellbeing, leading to a more positive future.

Mediation can, at times, be a difficult process. However, it can prove to be successful in improving home life and relationships. Mediation is a future focussed process which looks at how to move issues forward - it is not about focussing on what has happened in the past.
We will help you by listening to how you are feeling, what you feel the issues or problems are and how you would like things to progress. We then support and empower you to decide what realistic and achievable changes you would like to make in order to achieve a positive outcome.
We can support you for as long as required; as long as there are things you would like to achieve that you need support with through mediation.
talk²sort Mediation takes referrals for 11-19 year olds within Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
If you would like to access the service, or find out more information about mediation, you can get in touch by phone or email.
