The Bridge (East Midlands) Chosen As ‘Charity of the Year’
Local landlord and business owner, Sean O’Neill, of The Needle & Pin located in the Town Centre of Loughborough has chosen to benefactor The Bridge (East Midlands) as their ‘Charity of the Year’.
During the Christmas period, Sean, his staff team and local customers raised a generous £250 and have pledged to raise £1,000 over the course of the coming year.
The Needle & Pin have numerous ideas and fundraising plans which will come to fruition throughout the year including the sale of locally made bottle openers, collections, raffles. and specific events at the pub.
The Bridge (East Midlands), a local homeless and housing charity who help on average 2,500 individuals and families a year; across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland through multiple, advice, support and specialist services are delighted to be supported by a local business.
Peter Davey, Chief Officer at The Bridge said, “I would like to thank The Needle and Pin, we’re absolutely delighted to have been chosen as their Charity of the Year. This invaluable support will help us to continue our work with homeless people within Charnwood.
