In your role as a YES Intensive Young Persons Support Worker you will be supporting young people aged between 15 and 24 to take steps towards training, education or employment by overcoming barriers which have prevented them from achieving their goals. Our holistic approach means that on this journey, you will provide the support necessary to help improve confidence, reduce anxiety and improve well-being in order to enable them to be in the best place to achieve a positive outcome.

You will gain experience of working in partnership with the Voluntary Sector and third sector organisations, in order to support and promote the best possible outcomes for our clients.

As a valued employee, you will receive day to day support during your time at The Bridge, but alongside this you will have regular supervisions with your line manager in order to ensure you are fully equipped to provide the high standard of support that your clients deserve.

Alongside the completion of this form, we would like you to record a short video (up to 2 minutes long) to help us find out a little more about you. We are passionate about our Values, so in your video we would love to hear you discuss a topic that you are passionate about too. This doesn’t necessarily have to be housing related; you could pick any topic at all, from football to science.

This will be a great chance for you to showcase your personality and your interests.
