The Bridge is seeking to appoint a Trustee to join our existing Board for an initial three-year term.

We welcome applications from people who have an understanding of the importance of effective governance and the principles of leadership. As a Trustee you will have a shared responsibility for the overall governance of the organisation. The Board of Trustees adopt the principles of the Charity Governance Code for larger charities on an annual basis and this informs the direction of their work.

As a Trustee, you can help us in several ways:

  • Provide support with strategic oversight.
  • Relationship building with potential funders, partners, staff and the wider charity sector.
  • Supporting the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Management Team.
  • Ensure strong corporate governance in line with both charity and company law.

We will support you in your time as a Trustee, with a thorough induction process and onward continuous professional development opportunities.
