At The Bridge, we continually strive to improve, develop, and create services to improve the lives of local people across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. As the Grants and Trust Fundraiser, you will lead on increasing the charity’s grant and trust funding which enables us to achieve our vision and continue to provide these life changing services.

Within the key role of the Grants and Trust Fundraiser at an exciting time for development, you will be proactive and open minded by seeking, identifying, and completing funding opportunities. With a keen eye for detail, organisational mindset, and great personable skills you will ensure no opportunity is missed and no funder goes without proper stewardship. You will be able to facilitate and nurture these relationships with funders that generates further opportunities, whilst creating funding applications with your excellent communication and written skills.

The fantastic opportunity requires you to lead on fundraising whilst working closely with the Communications and Engagement Officer to promote your innovative fundraising ideas. By reaching targets and completing successful fundraising campaigns, you will continue to build upon your experience of working with a range of individuals and facilitate our team to continue their life changing work.

Alongside the completion of this form, we would like you to record a short video (up to 2 and a half minutes long) to help us find out a little more about you. We are passionate about our Values, so in your video we would love to hear why you are passionate about fundraising and what you think makes a good fundraiser.

We care about finding the right people to join our team, and so your application will be graded against our Values, Quality, Respect, Empowerment, Positivity and Partnership. This will be a great chance for you to showcase your personality and your interests!

When you have completed your Application Form and video recording, you can email them to, where applications will then be shortlisted for interview.

We would prefer for you to send us your video recording as a YouTube link. This is very easy, and you can do this by setting up an account, uploading your video and saving it as ‘Unlisted’ – which means that only people you send the link to, can see your video.
