Are you looking for a challenging and exciting role within an innovating and award-winning Homeless Charity?
Why work for The Bridge? There are a hundred reasons.
Maybe you have known someone or heard of someone who has suffered without help, or perhaps you’re tired of seeing the same new stories about homelessness? Why not join us and lead our organisation to help change lives.
We are a dynamic well established and outstanding organisation with a mission to find someone to lead our organisation to deliver first rate services to those in need.
Everyone at The Bridge has heaps of energy and positivity, and we are fortunate to say we start every day knowing we can make a difference to local people. We are a small charity, but we are also a close-knit community that’s organised, focussed and ambitious.
There are range of great benefits to working for The Bridge, including extra holiday days. However, benefits are not why individuals join an organisation like ours. Or why our staff stay. We value our staff not just because it’s the right thing to do, but also because it really helps and develops them. As our new Chief Executive Officer, supported by great staff and a highly supportive Board of Trustees, we will help you to achieve what you came to The Bridge for: to change people’s lives for the better.
The CEO will be responsible for leading The Bridge to deliver the strategic vision of the organisation, and sustaining the values, ethos and service quality to which it is committed. The person we are seeking should share our passion for meeting the long-term needs of vulnerable service users delivering a range of services in conjunction with our partner organisations covering Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
That person will have a strong track record of shaping and delivering a clear vision through senior leadership, partnership working and effective business and financial management in the voluntary, public or related private sector.
The successful candidate will be an inspiring, collaborative, dynamic and creative leader. There is no essential requirement for the successful candidate to be a person with a professional background in homeless and vulnerable social care, though candidates should be able to demonstrate that they have relevant experience and a capacity to work and lead effectively with the culture and principles of an organisation that supports the prevention of homelessness.
A strong educational background to degree level. Our values are respect, quality, partnership, empowerment and positivity. As an organisation we also aim to be fair, inclusive, flexible, ethical and celebrate differences. If you are passionate about what we do and believe you can lead this organisation we would be very interested to hear from you.
